Masons was established by James Mason in 1974 as an Agricultural Engineering Dealership and today employs nearly 30 members of staff who provide a high standard of sales and service for both the Agricultural and Garden Machinery industries. Masons are the John Deere dealership for South and East Devon based at our shop and offices just off the A38 Devon Expressway, near Chudleigh.
Masons promote what they believe to be the best products in the industry backed up by a high quality of service. The products are strong, reliable and are supported by suppliers dedicated to constant development and improvement. They employ several skilled engineers under the department management of Shane Edgcombe, all of whom receive annual technical training updates to maintain their high standard of knowledge.
John Deere is the main franchise covering a wide range of products from the industries leading tractor range down to the gator utility vehicle. Masons are also the main dealer in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset for the whole Rolland product range including dung spreaders and trailers, as well as Pichon and BVL products. They promote what they believe are the best products in the industry, including other machinery from our suppliers such as, Kuhn, Bailey, Albutt, Spearhead, Hi-Spec and many more.
In 1998 the business was expanded to include the Garden Machinery Department under the Management of Nick Morgan.
The Parts Department, managed by Matt Hellyer, has introduced a wide range of the John Deere merchandise, from clothes to toys and much much more. John Deere merchandise, garden equipment and machinery items can now be purchased directly from our secure website.
